Alesia
Alesia is the southernmost continent of Ulra. Located at the planet's south pole and encircled by a massive wall of ice, it remains isolated from the rest of the world. As of 1220 AU, the people of Alesia believe they are the only civilization on Ulra, while the inhabitants of the other continents are entirely unaware that Alesia exists.
Unlike the rest of Ulra, where The Ten are worshipped as the ruling gods of the world, Alesia remains under the influence of the Old Gods.

Overview
Alesia is separated from the rest of Ulra by vast oceans and a nearly impassable wall of ice. For centuries, this isolation has prevented meaningful contact between Alesia and the other continents.
The people of Alesia believe themselves to be the only civilization on the planet. Likewise, the inhabitants of Eldor, Suvera, Kuri-Khan, Terran and Gomanus have no knowledge that Alesia exists.
Geography
Alesia occupies the southernmost reaches of Ulra and is surrounded by a massive ring of ice.
The continent experiences harsh climates, violent weather and long winters.
Religion
While most of Ulra worships The Ten, Alesia remains loyal to the Old Gods.
The three principal deities worshipped throughout the continent are:
Their influence remains far stronger here than anywhere else in the world.
High Storms
Alesia is regularly struck by supernatural storms known as High Storms.
These storms are believed to be the result of the ongoing struggle between The Ten and the Old Gods for control over the continent.
During a High Storm, immense amounts of divine energy are released into the world. The storms can reshape landscapes, empower individuals, alter magical effects and leave behind areas saturated with divine power.
Many Alesians view the storms as sacred manifestations of their gods.
Connection to the Feywild
Alesia possesses the strongest known connection to the Feywild anywhere on Ulra.
Scholars of Avi believe that the immense concentrations of divine energy generated by the High Storms have weakened the barrier between worlds. As a result, crossings into the Feywild are far more common in Alesia than elsewhere on the planet.
Sprites are far more likely to cross into the material plane on Alesia in response to strong emotions or elemental forces.
Because of this connection, Alesian culture has developed a unique relationship with sprites, treating them as an accepted part of daily life rather than the mysterious creatures they are considered elsewhere in Ulra.
