Those plans came to an end when Shoshana fell in love with Charlie Bradford, married him, and gave birth to [[Caleb]] Bradford. As a result, Shoshana was excommunicated from the coven and forced to leave her home and family behind.

In a final attempt to save those who remained, Granny unleashed a powerful wave of magic that shattered Dumont's forces and transported the surviving witches to safety.

The effort came at a terrible cost. Following the spell, Granny became completely unresponsive. Though she bore no visible injuries, her face was frozen in an expression of fear and agony, and none of the surviving witches could awaken her.

Her fate remains unknown.
